A great evening was had by all at the 2015 ACT Chief Minister's Export Awards on October 23. The National Arboretum was the perfect venue — the event was polished, the entertainment top notch and dinner was magnificent. Frameskin were proud as punch to win the award for Manufacturing. While on stage I spoke about my trail building disorder (well, we were standing on the ancestral home of the Kowalski Brothers!), the kick arse mountain bike events I am involved with and the short version of how Frameskin started and where I'd like it to go.
Thanks go to ACT Export Awards for delivering a next level event and to the Chief Minister's Office and Andrew Barr ACT Chief Minister for supporting it so strongly. Aspen Medical Australia took out a well deserved win as Exporter of the Year. A fantastic night with some very inspirational stories and great people. Canberra has oodles of talent and is the coolest place to live if you happen to be obsessed about bikes #CBR #somanyplacestoride
Thank you to Vinh Lu from the ANU College of Business and Economics for selecting Frameskin to be part of the International Business Plan Competition and to the student groups that have worked so hard this semester to research my market and develop an international business plan for me. It has been a great process and I am sure it will pay dividends over the coming year. @IBCompetition @our_ANU @ANU_CBE @InvestCanberra @NatArboretum
